4J is known for releasing content that is beyond buggy and unplayable in alot of areas. Then takes weeks/months before they remedy it with a patch. So your best bet is to wait, and stalk their twitter feed.
I need help, I cannot activate by bed.I have tried to save and load my game. Can anybody give be any advice?
One, don't mind the troll. They're stinky, yet harmless.
Two, davimore is right. What difficulty are you playing on? If you are on easy, normal or hard, you can't sleep if there are any enemies close by. The bug is that the game isn't giving us the "You cannot sleep..." warning right now. If you're on peaceful, try moving the bed away from any walls and be sure the ceiling is at least three blocks high. Sometimes, in large houses, placing your bed in the middle of the house will cause the game to not notice enemies outside. I think it has something to do with distance, but there are others here who know exactly what that distance is.

You need to check yourself. 4J Studios helped to port a PC game to the XBox and somehow only charged us $20 for it. Also, all the updates and bug fixes have been free even though 4J Studios has to pay Microsoft to cert test everything. Minecraft isn't the only game in the world. If you're frustrated with the current bugs, play a different game! We'll have the bug fix in the next few weeks, which will be barely over a month since the TU7 release, not months. None of the patches or bug fixes have taken months. You could also do some research on computer/game programming, code, etc. If you can't do it too then don't criticize those who do. Otherwise, be patient and make do, or simply keep your mouth shut and move on to something else while you wait. There are a great many of us who are grateful to 4J for what we've got and all the work they put into it for us. Good day.

~My problem is a simple one: I'm severely allergic to stupid.~
problem was that i got no message, he was just moving his hand like he was trying to use it
Sounds like what the rest of us have. No warning message. Best i can tell you is check again for enemies and possibly put your bed in the middle of a larger room/house. Good luck!

Hey they may have to pay for cert test but atleast they get a set of free title updates. They should be able to get it to us faster. not saying that the games stupid its just that people are anxous.
The targeting distance is 16 blocks. I'm fairly certainly that the most common monsters causing the problem are creepers and spiders, because they can "lock on" to you without first having LOS to you. If a zombie or Skellie is locked on, you should know it because the sound distance is also 16 blocks.
There MAY be an issue with the AI of zombies and Skellies that is allowing them to "lock on" without LOS. A couple of people I know have used the Xray glitch to find a 1x1x2 room beneath their house where a single zombie and/or skeleton is located. Clearing this room allowed them to sleep.
If you want to solve the problem permanently, build a tower (3 stories minimum) and put your bed on the top floor. Be certain to include spider blocker overhangs and to light the roof or you will potentially get things spawning up there.
This has happened to me too on numerous occasions, but mine doesn't even show the "L to sleep" icon at the bottom. What I end up doing is just taking the bed and replacing it until it works.

Oh, this is me being brave! I wanna be brave at home, locked in my closet, with my teddy bear!

Thank you. I wasn't sure of the distance. Also, no trees near the tower. Nothing sucks more than finally finishing a build that "should be safe" only to find a skelly hanging out in the top of the tree outside your bedroom window. Haha.

Yeah as many others have said, you can't sleep because there's a hostile mob nearby. The next bug fix will ensure the message informing us of this upon trying to sleep.
EDIT:I'd like to echo electricblooz because I think hes right about skellies and zombies sometimes being able to lock on without LOS. I remember finding a skelly crammed into a deep corner trying to get through the wall to get at my friend in his house. I was standing out side his house watching for a bit before he went into the nether but the skelly kept trying to walk through the corner.

Eh prolly nothin.
Agreed. I know why i can't sleep sometimes, but the message would be nice. Right now though, the LOS issue is so frustrating. I've dug out all around my houses looking for the zombie or skelly i hear. It's kind of an annoying sound to hear arrows hitting blocks and not knowing exactly where the skelly is. Or of you're going to die hitting the block(s) the arrows are stuck in. I found a hidden creeper that way. It was a blast. I look forward to that bug being fixed.
