Is it just me or is it impossible to find nether warts on minecraft right now. I have seen a single natural nether wart yet.

They only spawn in Nether Fortresses, and the generation of those is less than optimal right now. :C

I actually have a question about Nether Warts. Found a patch of them in my Nether Fortress near a blaze spawn. We harvested some and replanted them in the Nether. We also took some back to the main realm and tried to create a farm there. We planted it on Soul Sand, but none of it would grow in Main... but grew back fast in The Nether. The wiki states it can grow in any realm and has no light requirement... just that it needs to be planted on soul sand.

Is this bugged or did this come in a future update?

That's a future update. When Nether Wart was first introduced it could only grow in the Nether, and that is the case for the Xbox version for now.
