It's probably the biome changes. Each biome has it's own grass color. Deserts being the yellowest, the whiteish/green being taiga, grasslands green, and swamps being a dark green.
I see, so there is no way to make it all the same colour?
It also rains alot by the big house and around that area but like a few block maybe 40 away it don't rain why is this?
Sadly no way to change the grass color, I wish you could collect different grass blocks with silk touch though.
As for the raining, that's to do with biomes. If you are in a desert it wont rain. Same as if you are in a taiga it will snow. I've had seeds (will talk from PC experience) that maybe had three or four blocks in a taiga that was considered a river and it would rain in those few blocks, while snowing all around it.
Don't worry about it.
The whole thing will end up changing again with TU9...I believe.
You may get the same biomes together and have the same grass...or not; same applies to weather.
Who knows....
The grass is greener on the other side...

The --------------- being the pathway to get to the house.
However on the left side the grass is greener??? any ideas why?
