Obsidian is renewable. You might not think it, but it is. It is not renewable like everything else is. Here's what to do.
Requirements:
-Two way nether portal in both dimensions, type doesn't matter.
-Two players.
Here's what to do. You put one player in the overworld and the other in the nether. The one in the overworld is to wait near the portal with a bucket of water, until the one in the nether is in the nether. Once the nether guy is in the nether, have the one in the overworld flood the portal. Then pick the water back up. Then the one in the nether is still active. Have the one in the nether come back to the overworld. It will create another portal, but leave the old obsidian frame behind. Do the same thing over and over again until there is a ring of portal frames. Mine the frames and you have the renewable obsidian.
Copy worlds: Requirements:
-A world worth playing on,
-hard drive
-cloud or other storage device
What to do:
Copy the designated world on the cloud(or other device). Go into minecraft and rename the world as something else. After this is done, go back to xbox home and go to storage. Copy the renamed world back into the hard drive. Once that has been done, you can delete the world from the other storage device. Optional: go into minecraft and rename the world the same name as the world it has been copied from. You now know how to copy worlds and duplicate obsidian without flooding lava.
Or just simply hit pause....Got to (change storage device) and save it to one. Hit change storage device and save it on the other..
I do this now at the end of the night for my session. So there is 2 at all times and at worse I lose only one day worth of work.
Also the cloud(though not fully reliable) already saves to a location in the xbox itself. Then loads it to the cloud. So normally if the cloud is offline, you can still load that last file, as it held it "pending for upload". Within "memory/cloud storage"
