I know it's suppose to come out some time in January, anyone have any info for closer to when???
I can't play anymore with this current update, my maps just won't generate blaze/blaze spawner unless it's in creative, in survival(if the world is lucky enough to have a fortress) the spawners that are visible in creative do not spawn in survival maps. I gave up on one map because I was foolish and just generated a random seed figuring all would be good, and nope, no fortress was there. My second map, I was smart enough to go through creative first, found a blaze spawner, but after playing through on survival, when I got to the nether fortress, the spawner along with all the blaze were gone. I went and started a brand new map on creative using the same seed and the spawner was back.
So at this point I don't want to go through even more maps hoping on a miracle that the spawner has decided to stick around, so I won't be playing till the update, how long is my wait??
January is all that has been said, beyond that who knows... Of course I am unsure myself whether it will be in this month or not, but still hoping.
That is what the twitter thread at the top that is pinned is for, isn't it? that is the only place I know of that will say when. Even then it will not be exact date due to the certification. You will know when it comes out when the pinned bugs thread is updated. That will usually be within 1-2 weeks from that from my understanding of it...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
When it comes to updates, I learned very quickly not to even worry about it. Never believe what you hear from anyone, other than the staff of 4J Studios themselves. If you want info on updates, follow 4J on Twitter, or watch the stickied thread that parrots tweets from 4J. (I think it's stickied... isn't it?)
The best thing you can do is pay no attention to it at all. When the prompt pops up, say "Yay!" and download the update.
