Yesterday I had six diamonds and 64 plus iron ingots. Today I have no diamonds and 29 iron ingots. 2 kids joined my server and stole my stuff while I was mining with friends. I died and my stuff despawned so I came back to make myself a new set of armour to see 2 players frolicking in the fields in front of my house wearing iron armour and using diamond swords. I quickly checked my chest and all my stuff was gone I sent a message to one saying to give my stuff back I didn't get a response. I went towards them and the other started shooting at me with my bow, I was killed but I quickly ralliied my friends and we worked together to over throw them. I got my stuff back but I had 2 diamonds and half my stuff was still missing.

Has something like this ever happened to you?

Use host options, never happens to me anymore

ALWAYS have it on invite only. Also, make sure to have autosave off, so if your stuff is destroyed or stolen, just exit.

Why on earth do you let people like this in your game? My friend had some kid come in his world and the kid took ALL of his Iron and made it into armor... Like 20 sets... I had a kid that joined my world while I was busy (Was a friends friend I believe) so I didn't think he'd do anything major. Well he took all my gold and made armor out of it... Exit + game on invite only = problem solved.

Or you can hire me as personal watchman like my friend did. Some kid came in and threatened to light everything on fire with his Flint and Steel so I took him out with a bow... PWNED.

Mercs or host options are the way to go. Or keeping your stuff hidden.

Tough lessen on the benefits of using tools like keeping "invite only" checked and "trust players" unchecked.

I keep my games online only but I stalk people when they check my stuff out.
Open a chest to look, I'll look too, wanna go in the cave, I'll go in the cave, wanna borrow a diamond, you're dead.

1.) Hide stuff. As simple as under the floor will do.
2.) Invite-only. No idiots then.
3.) Friends of friends off. Less idiots then.
4.) No auto-save. Easy undo then.
5.) Don't complain. I've had worse.

Use as many insults as you can. Works for me.

So you're playing on a server, someone stole some of your stuff, you had an epic battle to retrieve the stuff and got all of it back.

Sounds like a good time.

I never let anyone into my world. It is my domain.

I make sure that all the people in my world live far away from me.
If someone gets close to my water house, I warn them.
If they get on one of my platforms then they lose their permissions till they leave.
I have a hidden chest and keep off autosave.

I guess I am not that exciting. My friend is the only one that plays with me and he can use anything I have and I can use anything he has on his map. I have never had someone just jump into my game that I didnt know. Also cant you just exit without saving if that happens? Then you get your stuff back.
