No glitch, no bug, but it is frustrating. Also frustrating . . you can only put slabs on the 'bottom' of a block, and you can't put normal blocks on top of a half slab.
Why is it this way? Having a block, half stone and half sand stone ect, is useful. You sure this isn't a glitch?Lol hopefully sometime in the future this is fixed.
I destroyed my ceiling and wanted to make the ceiling stone half slabs and the 2nd floor cobblestone. Waisted 40min doing that lol.

yeah it is not even possible on the pc. Not that I know of. They have upside down stuff, which some confuse that with what you are talking about. It would be nice, but the only thing you can do is be sure to have a 2 thick floor when doing it that way. About the only thing you can do to fix what you did is to lay the second floor, and then double up the stone slabs for the ceiling... and just dig down a bit to lower the base floor. you can always have that floor just drop down into slabs as well...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
Well that's just silly. I really do hope this is changed sometime in the future.
No it's not silly. It shouldn't be hard to understand. Half slabs cannot connect to different half slabs because it is defined as it's own block. Even Jeb from Mojang said it is almost impossible to put this into the game in the future.

In MCXBLA you can't stack 2 different half blocks on each other. They seem to have to be the same half block to do so.
This is a pretty dumb bug if it is a glitch. Lol.
