As for if the item frames will be in the next update for the XBox version, the update list hasn't been released so, Pixel_Potion, you shouldn't spread rumors.

I look forward to this update on the 360. It's nice having a clock near a mine entrance so you know whether it's night or day outside... or from the netherworld.
Minecraft does have clocks, you use gold and redstone, but no, you can't put them on walls, you use clocks to see time as minecraft minutes are called ticks.
thats odd...you put an item into an item frame, and maps and clocks operate while its there
I believe you both have mixed up versions of the game. This thread is in the Minecraft for XBox forum, not the Minecraft for PC. While we do have item frames, thus clocks on walls, on the PC, we do not have them in the XBox version.

No clue actually. 4J said they were going in their own direction after the update equivalent to the PC's 1.2.3 release. Item frames came with 1.4.2 so i honestly have no idea if we'll ever get them in the XBox version. Here's hoping, i suppose.

I'm pretty positive that 4J will pull things from the PC version that people really want. They aren't going to completely forsake the PC version after hitting 1.2.3 on the Xbox 360 Edition. They are just going to stop following that update structure and start doing their own thing.

Anything Wither related, but please, nothing from the 1.5 update except those new chests that activate redstone.
someone doesn't craft...ever. 1 redstone, 4 gold bars? right side of the tools, second one down? its a clock buddy
1.4.3 was when they added that. And there is no guarantee that it will be added. Unless 4J has stated it, I will have to see it to believe it.
This. Thank you, SharpenedPata.
Actually, we got item frames in the PC version with 1.4.2, which was released on October 25, 2012 and called the "Pretty Scary Update".
1.4.3 was skipped due to severe bugs so 1.4.4 was released on November 14, 2012.
1.4.5 came only six days later on November 20, 2012.
1.4.6 was released one month later on December 20, 2012.

The analogue to 1.4.2. I don't know when that is. Next one is 1.2.5.
not exactly neccesary, but would be very nice
Agreed.
