This is getting very boring. Considering we have no severs.... I hate having to come on the forums just to find a game. And when I do people usually don't respond. Plus C'mon really I think it's pretty unacceptable to have to add someone just so you can play. I mean C'mon 4J, And don't even says you can't have servers because it's to hard. There are Indie games that have servers. We Want SERVERS @4JSteve
You do realize that 4J aren't the ones who decided what does and does not go into Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition right? That decision is mostly Mojang's and partly Microsoft's. 4J were the grunts hired to do all the leg work.
They've already said multiple times that servers are something they're looking into doing, but as of right now, they haven't decided how to implement them. The most likely thing we'll see from listening to them at Minecon 2012 is rentable servers like Battlefield 3.
The adding someone in order to play with them thing was their first step in stopping griefers. Normally, you would trust everyone on your friends list hence why they're on there to begin with. Now that we have options in the game to prevent griefing, they may take away that need to have friends or friends of friends only.
There really is nothing constructive in your post... You're just calling 4J lazy slackers, which isn't really true. Their priority is to reach 1.2.3 and they're achieving that quite nicely.
just got the pc version and honestly the multiplayer approach is similar. you go on the forums, find a server, join it and hope it doesnt go offline. 2 servers went offline in my experience. at the end of the day i found both mp systems to be pretty similar. i could be wrong or went about it the wrong way. IDK.

When I look at all the games you can't play online anymore because the developer/publisher shut down their servers (EA being notorious for this), I'm glad MC360 isn't using servers to play on. As for your problem, OP, I suggest getting hold of a few friends who also play MC a lot and to play with them. Much more rewarding and less troublesome than finding new people over and over.

Is it a chicken or is it a duck? - It's a chuck, because dicken sounds stupid.
Lol another post by the same guy complaining about something else. I'm sure they'll add some type of server or map sharing feature eventually, but until then you're just going to have to be patient. I'd much rather them keep the updates coming then stop what they're doing and work on something else.
