I was wondering since i have a bit of stuff on my old world and its hard to ditch it, Is there a lot im missing out on by playing the old generated world, aside from the new biomes and some structures?
Would i be able to get the objects that are missing in old worlds via creative mode, and just plop them in?
The major thing is, which has to be done in creative, is the stuff for brewing. Netherwart, blaze rods, the brewing stand. That kinda stuff. Also not to mention the structures, but that is the only source of nether brick. Which also you would have to place in creative.
most other things like enchanting you can do in an old world. Breeding included, albeit a little buggy for some. I have had no problems with these things so far, but there are some that have. If you make you seed # in creative, making a new map you can see if it includes a mooshroom biome, and from that remember the coordinates to locate on your old map where those mooshrooms will spawn. I just happen to stumble upon the red cow on my old map when I loaded it up the first time after the update. lol
There really isn't very many new blocks added. Vines you have to put in through creative, but all you will need is 1, as they spread after some time has passed. Harvesting it isn't so bad long as you have sheers... I know that is not knew in this update but figured I would mention. nether wart only grows in the nether on soul sand, so you will have to have access to the nether to farm it. It is one of the things that is needed in most brewing potions.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
Would i be able to get the objects that are missing in old worlds via creative mode, and just plop them in?
Thanks for your help!
