I've been playing on my 1.6.6 world and I had no winter biomes at all now all the sudden it's snowing every and water is freezing even in desert biomes is this a biome malfunction or just a New Years thing? Help!
because The seed changed. Like another said biome shift, due to the fact they added a couple of biomes, mooshroom and snow plains. If you entered your seed # in you would be able to see how your biomes are set up around the map.
