so I just recently built 2 underground pens for sheep and cows. the issue is that the sheep and cows are looking up as though they want to go up to the surface and the sheep aren't growing any of their wool. any idea on what the issue is and how to fix it?

Well for the looking up, if you're up there then they're probably looking at you, cause all mobs have a tendency to look at you more than anywhere else. As for the sheep regrowing wool, they don't do that in this update unfortunately.

I don't know about the looking up thing, but sheep apparently don't regrow their wool yet, sadly.

well, theres a hallway leading to the farms, and anytime I stand there, they are still looking up. could it be because of a wheat farm just about the pen?

They are usually attracted to light, are they looking at torches?

Have any of you had problems with animals despawning after a period of time? I dont know the exact time I just think its been happening after a while on my map.

Happens after 5 seconds on my world.

I do have torches in the ceiling, so maybe if I take them out, maybe they will stop with this weirdness

I dont have that issue, I have the issue of animals being everywhere and not going away

I think animals are attracted to natural light. They will seek out natural if in dark area...is the sky visible from inside the pen?
