So, from the 1.0.1 update we got breeding. And to get them to breed you use wheat. You need to lure them with wheat to get them into a pen. Has anyone else had a problem with the luring? Like sometimes they don't follow you and you have to repeatedly beat them to get them to follow you? Or you repeatedly beat them and the STILL don't follow you?
It takes a while and ive noticed that you kinda need to have the wheat DIRECTLY in their line of sight (directly in front of them) for them to notice it.
true. happens to me alot to. i either have wait near them for abot 15 secs, or go directly in their line of sight. i noticed that cows tend to take the longest to get lured. with pigs at 2nd, and sheep follow me right away.
I have the same issue, I usually have to walk away from them and get closer, if that doesn't work, I push them in minecarts xD.
I have trouble pushing animals when they're close to fences. Their head just gets stuck in the fence and they won't move until I hit them... And do chickens follow seeds, or does that just make them breed?

The good people, they always die. And the bad people do too...But the weaker people, the people like me, WE have inherited the Earth. -Morgan Jones
I know wheat won't work on parenting animals and baby's.
But yes, I have also experienced this problem I usually run and go towards them again or circle them untill they respond.
But I'm more worried about them getting through my fences. wheres that cow?

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
You have to get them to look right at your hand. Sometimes you have to circle around them, then they will lock on. Other times I just will wander around holding wheat and will end up with a dozen screaming animals following me.
