I haven't played minecraft for a month or so, but I started playing the other day again. I am pretty good with redstone and "some" complicated contraptions but I am no expert by no means. I don't know if it was TU7 or and earlier update since its been a while, but my note block songs are all glitched or messed up from the update(s).
I have made 3 songs with note blocks and many little song clips, and every one of them don't play right anymore. I don't know if this is a glitch that will/can be fixed or if this is how they are intended to work now.
I was not a minecraft fan on pc, I only started playing (and fell in love) with minecraft for xbox. I use a couple programs on my computer to make the songs and then Build them in my world. I use Minecraft Noteblock Studio, and Schematics 2 Blueprint to make the songs. Originally the way the two programs showed to make the song, (for the current pc version) the song wouldn't work. So I had to modify the blueprints as I built them to make it all work. Now since TU7 or TU6 the songs don't play right, and the way the program shows to build it now works.
So the ultimate question is....is this a glitch/bug or is this intended to work like this?.. I will be perfectly happy if its intended, I will just have to rebuild all of them. The only problem is if I power a Noteblock any Noteblock touching that block is also powered, playing both notes at the same time. Since I first started useing these programs neither have been updated so it is still the same, and every song it loops the blocks around so that almost every Noteblock is touching another Noteblock. So if this is intended to work this way I can just adjust the blocks to not touch but take up more space. Or if its a glitch and can be fixed then they will work like they are. Does anyone (older pc minecrafters) know if this is intended, or how it is on pc?.. I can try and get some pics to show what I am talking about, I just don't know how to post pics on the forums.
All I can say is redstone is changing, and those blocks that are affected by it. It seems like certain things will need a different way to go about them in each update.
However since I have not messed with note blocks I really can't say much on the subject...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
