Um not sure if I'm in the wrong for writing this, but everyone is entitled to thier own opinion. Anyway, I feel that all this complaining about 1.0.1 is wrong. I can only count how many posts complaining it's taking to long and now it's post complaining about it being rushed and having bugs and shoulda had this or that in it and it disapoints them. Awe..... give me a break, no much whinning and not enough of just actually sitting back and really appreciate all of this work Mojang and 4J put into this game(and yes I know 4J does 360, but without Mojang no Minecraft for 4J to work with). Now as for the disapointment, when you purchased the game you must of known you where getting an unfinished game, meaning that there will plenty of bugs to be fixed, glitches to be patched, and well 4J is banging their keyboards and throwing controllers trying to recreate the bugs and glitches to fix and patch, all of you great fans are seat there playing and complaining. Instead of complaining, try and be a little appreciative and give em some credit, they've been working on this project for awhile, just about everyday brain racking is not good for anyone lol, Mojang and 4J must have in house councling lol. But no seriously people, instead of complaining try complimenting them once in awhile, they work hard. Beside by us posting the bugs and glitches is like we're part of a community based team that helps make for a better gaming experience.
Sorry If I offend anyone, but I only see very few posts of appreciation, I've seen a cpl good ones just recent, but the posts of complaining out weigh the good ones by far. Come on MC fans let's give credit where credit is due, they work for us.

"Be Creative, Play Hard, Mine Harder, and Most of All Have Fun"
yeah if you think about it... Its a game that you pay $20 for. They give out huge free updates. In my opinion its better than most of the new games anyway.
I have actually had no complaints until this patch came out. I do enjoy the swiftness and effort 4J has put into this game for the XBOX version, however I rather like my abandoned mineshafts and melon seeds and because of some coding error I'm not guaranteed them on every single random seed I generate looking for good maps. I prefer to browse ubergine's maps, he finds some good ones and is one of the few to include coordinates. Also before 1.0 or Tu7, if you created a world in Creative it was the same as a world Created in Survival. This, however, is no longer the case and there are several Game Breaking bugs that came out with it. I do hope they are fixed soon and I do hope Jungle Biomes and Kitty Cats come out soon but I'm content to wait for now and go off to play Skyrim if I'm really frustrated. However, because of this forum I have met new friends and they are awesome. Two of which are GENIUS'S when it comes to Redstoning! I think you have to be some kind of Scientist/Mathamatician for Redstone-Circuit thing as it's so complex!
I agree, I know this patch has caused bugs( none of which I've experienced), and these bugs should be known so 4J can fix them. I just wish people would stop making threads about the same bug and use either the bug fix thread or one that is already existing.
Every game these days has errors, because of the complicated coding. Even when the developers are trying to fix it, people still complain. I've experienced my fair share of game breaking bugs in games and it does suck, but if the bug is already known, more complaining isn't going to help.
The only complaint I have is I want cats, I was informed that they would be available in the most recent update but am yet to see one. * disappointed sigh*
I know of no other game that even comes close to having the sheer number of free updates and patches. If another developer was working on this game we'd be up to Minecraft 6 or 7 by now, with you having to pay again for each new version. But still we gripe, and demand more…. all for free, of course. Anything we've gotten over the basic, original program is pure gravy but instead of having a sense of appreciation we instead have this sense of entitlement- that this game should have, do, and be anything anybody wants it to be.

Well, 4J never said they were going to be in this update.
When it comes to Minecraft, listen only to 4J, Microsoft, Mojang, or PlayXBLA. Everyone else is just pull things out of thin air and making wild guesses.
I agree withi Mustache_Guy. Some people just set them selves up to be disappointed by not using reliable sources and not reading about what's expected to come in specific updates. Personally, I'm thrilled with this update and am enjoying playing the game very much.
Well I was disappointed at this update when this update first came out, because of the sheer amount of glitches I have encountered. I'm used to them now. I'm still kind of annoyed that breeding doesn't work because the animals despawn. However, this update is still great because of all the new additions!

I have no idea where that attitude came from.
