A friend and I were in the process of making a house to start up our TU7 adventures. We found a few wolves and decided to tame them earlier; my friend had his following him and mine was sitting inside of the pre-built house. As I was putting up the wood on a wall and my friend was organizing himself within his inventory, both wolves began to attack us out of the blue. They did not have raging red eyes, and they were not harmed by neither of us. Another crazy thing about it was that both wolves attacked it's owner. We both died and sprinted back home to gather our things. Fortunately, the wolves were friendly when we entered the house and my friend murdered them to prevent further mishaps. It was a real shame, but the both of us pondered on what happened exactly. Jokingly, my friend mentioned the one who shall not be named, and I didn't agree. We just couldn't put our finger on it, so I decided to post it here. My questions are 1: Did this happen to anybody else? 2: Was this a glitch or a new wolf behavioral pattern? Another thing I would politely ask of you readers is to think of different actions I may have committed to trigger it. For example, did you hit the wolf? Answer: No, neither of us did.
Did you guys hit each other at any time? Because I hit my sister once and the wolf attacked me until I was dead.
I haven't thought of that! That was completely void from my mind. However, I don't have any recognition of us hitting each other. Before that though, his wolf bit me once and ran away. Then my wolf bit him and suddenly became docile. It is a possibility that we hit each other, but the wolf behaviors were a bit strange.
Wolves are really buggy,one time my brothers wolf attacked for no complete reason after my brother took fall damage. Also,one time in 1.8 i had a wolf(Red Ranger) and he was completely stable, I still have hime and he hasn't ever hurt me. I found 2 or 3 wolves later and kept them upstairs so that i wouldn't confuse them with Red Ranger. One day, I don't know how, I hit myself with my own arrow.I was downstairs with Red Ranger and he didn't do anything, but suddenly the 2 new wolves teleported from upstairs and started attacking me. They killed me and I came back and killed them after i respawned. Red ranger just sat there the whole time...creepy. This happened to me again in 1.0.1 when I breeded my wolves and had about 5 adults and 3 puppies all tamed now. I hit myself with an arrow again and they all attacked me except Red Ranger.I killed them all except Red Ranger...he's creepy
