Has anyone had the problem of blazes not spawning in survival? I was wondering because I need a blaze rod for a brewing stand and I couldn't find one in the nether so I created a new world and still couldn't find one so my friend told me to put it on creative and get one.. but that would ruin the leaderboards for that map. Does anyone have the same problem? If so.. any solutions?

They spawn in Nether Fortresses. Try looking there.

The second world I made has a huge nether fortress but I looked everywhere but still no blazes. The first world had a small nether fortress but no sign of blazes

Were in the same boat my friend. I have a mega nether fortress and not a single spawner. We are S.O.L

I have had the same problem although I haven't even found the Nether Fortress to begin with.

Maybe it's just bad luck. I don't see a glitch reported in the thread that revolves around the lack of spawners.

I also have a lack of spawners, my seed has a HUGE fortress, and no spawners.

did you initiate the world in creative or peaceful at all? From what I've gathered, if you have done that, it disables the blaze spawners. Same thing happened in a friend of mine's world I play in.

Unfortunately, I think 4jStudios needs to put out the bug fix patch before most of us can play on a seed with both magma cubes and blazes as there is something glitchy about Nether Fortress/ Blaze Spawner and Magma Cubes. Until then I would recommend checking out the seed list and playing on seeds with confirmed Nether Fortress/ Blaze Spawners. Now I don't go around recommending people visit the Nether for the first time on anything other than peaceful ((Due to Ghasts and also because you can spawn above an Ocean of lava with either 1 block deep Netherrack below you or nothing at all)) But you might have to visit it at least on easy until you can confirm a fortress and spawner.

My friend and I are playing on the same exact seed # he found one and I didn't????? wth????

I have similar problems. I have spent about 8 hours generating worlds and trying to find a world with two blaze spawners. If a world had any, it was always one. I eventually gave in and tried several from youtube that showed two spawners and when I loaded it in my world only one would appear. I do not understand how there are videos out on youtube that show several spawners in seeds when I try the same seed and get one or none.

I'm in the same boat and ed off. I have put a large amount of effort into my world and Blazes don't spawn in the Fortress. I'm going to have to spawn one in from creative mode

If this is a bug it needs to be fixed.

I started my world in peaceful mode and found a blaze spawner in my nether fortress. I switched the game to easy and I did get a blaze to spawn. However, I had about zero chance to get near the blaze after the ghasts got done dropping napalm all over my head. The spawner was located out in the open, I guess I'll have to switch back to peaceful and build up some safety walls before I try again.

actually in quite a few cases at least in my point of view, that is a good thing.... to build in peaceful to ensure you are only fending the blaze off and not the napalm strikers....lol
