Can someone help me find melon seeds on my world? i found them on creative but i wrote down the wrong coordinates and now i can't find them again. My seed is 1791514191 and the mineshafts i have are x=-170 Y=42 Z=-173 and the other one where i found the seeds in is X=-318 Y=28 Z=-70. Any help would be appreciated.

Use the x-ray glitch, It is god when it comes to finding them.
The chest right near the coordinate you cave contains pumpkin seeds. Could this have been your mistake?
Anyway, you have an absolutely awesome mineshaft there. In a few minutes of exploring it in creative mode, I found:
1 skeleton spawner with 2 chests, 1 regular spider spawner with no chests, and 1 zombie spawner with a chest. I also found 4 cave spider spawners. There is a chest with melon seeds at X-239, Y46, Z-143. Very close to it are two other chests, both of which contain diamonds. Merry Christmas!

I've made lots of duplicate worlds in creative and then in survival. Anytime they have come up different from each other has been when I've made a typo in the seed.
I'm sorry, I don't have any time to try to find these chests again in survival mode for you - it is Christmas Eve afterall. You might want to make sure you're at the coordinates you've written down in your survival world (e.g. are you at X MINUS 318? When I first read them, I mistook them as positive numbers at didn't even find a mineshaft where I first went to look on your behalf.

The seeds correct. They lead me into the mineshaft but there isn't any chest.

Well, because I'm such a nice person, I made a bit of time after dinner and created another copy of your seed in survival mode and went directly to the coordinates I posted. That chest is definitely there, along with the two other chests with the diamonds, one of which is visible just down the hall from the melon one and the other one is down the hall on the other side; but you have to break some gravel to see it. I cannot explain why you can't find them in your survival world. Perhaps someone you play with beat you to them.
