Hey guys, sorry I don't have a photo with this topic. I made a house on a mountain and i noticed animals spawning by the dozen on the slopes and sides of clifs, trapped indefinatly. Anyone else found this?

It's not a problem or bug. It's how animal spawning works. They spawn on any open grass block that is lit up by light of a certain level.

Since animals only spawn around the player, they're spawning around you which is causing them to get stuck on the mountains.
