I know how to go back to 1.6.6, but what about 1.7.3?
I really hate 1.8.2 but my friends got my me to update. (FUUUUU)
So how would I go about reverting to 1.7.3?

There now appears to be an additional complication to this. I've done it before, but I tried it again (twice actually) just yesterday - cleared my cache, but when I started Minecraft it was already at the 1.0.1 version with no query about re-updating at all. Could someone else who has done this before also do a test to see if they get the same result?
If you previously updated to TU6, did not clear the Cache and you delete TU7, it would start with TU6.
If you previously updated to TU6, cleared the Cache and you delete TU7 it would start without any update.
Thanks. That is sort of the answer I was expecting. So, since I've deleted my cached but not deleted TU7 and the game did not even ask to update anything afterward, I wonder how it's running TU7 without the other updates in the cache? Do they incorporate the earlier updates inside the most recent one?

For all you saying it is impossible, you are VERY wrong. This is how you can do it..
First, Download the title update you want from here.
Second, Delete your current update (clear your cache)
Third, Put the TU downloaded from step one onto a flash drive
Fourth, Copy the TU over to your xbox

Ah, so that's the difference. Thanks for clearing that up. Would deleting that take you back to 1.8.2? or earlier?
