Seed: 2230626849690283875 (Should have a desert in the middle with a village)
My friends and I have a survival world and we've been playing it for awhile now. We want to make potions but we cant find a fortress. After hours of searching in survival and getting blown up by ghasts. I loaded the seed up on creative mode and searched for one but couldn't find it. If anyone knows how to find them, could u please help me. I heard they could spawn inside netherrack, i tried digging around and no luck. I would really appreciate it if someone could help, Thanks.

I read in another thread that Nether Fortress have trouble spawing (like they spawn but are incomplete). However this will be fixed in another update.
Unfortuantley, worlds can spawn without mushroom islands and nether fortresses. Even if they do spawm there is a possibility that they can spawn without a blaze spawner and a netherwart farm. 4J studios said there was going to be a bug fix for this that would spawn in every world a nether fortress with blaze spawner(s) and a netherwart farm. I hope they include a mushroom island with 2 mooshrooms in every world too because it's making me mad not being able breed mooshrooms when we get tiny islands with 1 or no mooshrooms.

I've found a mushroom island but no nether fortress and a friend of mine said he also used creative mode and didn't find one. So in this next bug fix update, even though I probably explored most of my nether, will it still spawn a nether fortress?
I always load a new seed in Creative and search for a Fortress first.
I then search for the additionals in it.
Proceeding that, I fly about confirming there's one cactus and pine tree in the seed.
I lastly do a few X-rays an random digs for strongholds.
It's time-consuming, but is a lot faster than getting Obsidian to get to the Nether.

Oh okay, mine probably doesnt have one then. Thanks. This sucks... also it doesnt have one of those mushroom island either. Guess i'll have to find a new seed that has everything.

I believe you can breed a normal cow with a mooshroom and it has a decent chance (like 50/50) to spawn in a mooshroom baby or regular cow
