Ive had this idea for the last week or two thinking about because their are no mods on xbla minecraft but their is no way to do that unless it is illegal or it shuts off your internet but if the curse client was on xbox we could download/install mods easily and legally this could also help install maps and upload maps very simply and easily this will also install texture packs.
Well I bet now your thinking how will we make the mods and texture packs so they could be realeased on the curse client they could make a engine for the computer like they done for skyrim but only the files will be useable by the xbox and once your done just upload it to the curse client then after a certain mount of time the curse client would refresh and the mod\texture pack would be their.
Then theirs the maps you could just select the upload button then pick the storage device then select the map and it will upload for everyone to see then if you wanted to download it just select and press the A button select storage device and it downloads and is playable.
Leave in the comments about what you think about my idea I would very much like UT if curse would acknowledege this and this would give them more games applying for the curse client.
I am not so sure about that, even if it is a good idea, I am not so sure that microsoft would approve that... As that is whom it would have to go through eventually. It would in a way go against the Tos to some degree... As well safety protocols...
I just don't see that happening... Considering the mods would have to be re-written...O_o After all Java does not just automatically convert to C# in an instance...
I can see a lot of problems with this. sure the only good thing is that you would have mods and possible texture packs, but you would be waiting longer for those to be put in, as everything probably has to be redifined and re programmed...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
This will NEVER happen. Any mod or texture pack will be premium, and you'll have to pay for them. If not then it'll come as a free update, but definitely NEVER through a 3rd party client on the xbox itself.
As said previously all mods would have to be re-written specifically for the xbox version of the game as well. They would also have to be tested by microsoft to make sure they don't kill the xbox while running.

I need to give out more reputation. I'm not used to the system, but I see so many helpful posts. D: Sorry if I forget you!
