Hello there! This is my first post so im hoping for alot of help!!! I only got into mine craft about a month ago and i was wnondering, is it at all possible to mine a mob spawner? i remeber reading reading somewhere that it is possible but that you have to have silk touch. i tried it and nothing. is there a higher level of silk touch? Or is it not possible on the xbox yet?
You can't mine them, but it's possible to obtain them. Currently though, it's only possible to place a pig spawner. I'm sure there is a way to get specific mob spawners, but I wouldn't know how.

How? The pig spawner thingy? . . would be handy to have near my house so I can get endless pork chops.
Even if you could, replacing it would turn it into a pig spawner.

Retired StaffIt involves altering the data in your gamesave file. I can't tell you exactly how to do it, as discussing this is against forum rules.
