I started up a new survival world in 1.9 went to the nether and found a nether fortress aand even found the place a blaze spawned should be at yet there are no blaze spawners do blazes just have to spawn naturally or what please help
Im having the same problem too. I used a seed with a nether fortress and tested it out in creative. There was blaze spawners. Then I made another world with that seed on survival. There wasnt blaze spawners.
It seems like blaze spawners sometimes turn invisible, so keep watching those spots for blazes. They are very buggy right now and many are having problems with them.

I've had the exact same problem, they were there, and now when I go to get my blaze rods they're gone. /:

So when you say sometimes, does that mean that they may randomly reappear and start spawning blazes? I'd rather not start a new world, it's getting to be a bit of a pain. ..
I created a new world in creative just to see and there were some Blazes at a Neter Fortress. But when I created the same world in survival with the same seed, the Fortress was there, but there were no Blazes.
Every new world I create since has no Blazes in either Creative or Survival.
In my nether I have no nether fortress, is there any chance of blazes spawning naturally? I did start a new world after the update but didn't get a fortress so no spawners.
me and my friend play together regularly and we have also experienced that issue also an issue with netherwrat not growing. i hope mojange notices and realeases the patch soon
It is 4j studios that do this version and they have confirmed on Twitter that they are changing the code so there is always a nether fortress, nether warts and blaze spawners always generated
