Lol another post complaining about the lack of content? Damn you kids are fast! Not even 24 hours have passed since the update, and we're already crying about what they left out. Personally I'd much rather have the update we have now, and not have to wait until they finished the end. It was a good move on 4J's part to postpone it.

They're putting out these updates fast. Faster I'd wager than most developers would. And they actually communicate with the community. I'm actually amazed at the awesome job they're doing with this whole thing, I expected the waits to be way longer than they are. They surprised me.
And I really just don't understand why you'd not be happy about the updates we do have. "It doesn't have everything I wanted omg, so I don't want it at all!" Have fun with that. As for me, I'm stoked that that these incremental updates are adding new things and giving me new things to do.
If you didn't want the game until it was "complete", maybe you shouldn't have bought it until it was up to your standards.

Actually, you paid $20 for a full game. Everything that has been added since May 9th has been free content they could have easily never have added. They are spending their time and money to put out FREE content.
Minecraft will never be a "full" game. PC people are buying the game and getting free content as well. Did they pay for a full game that they didn't receive?

That's a good way to look at it. $20 bought you the game AS OF the version you bought it at. It was "complete" with regards to the functionality it had at that time. 4J kept adding more to it.
Additionally, it's not a matter of leaving stuff off. 4J is working to a known and well publicised feature list per release. Once they tell you what version it's at, you can compare it to the PC version and see that all the stuff is there that the PC had at that version.
So, if you're griping that you don't have a feature from a NEWER build of PC MineCraft than the what the build number says it should have, then you are being irrational.
only thing i widh they haddnt left out was vine climbing i dont perticullarly want the end and dont call me spoiled plz i am actuly posting this from my xbox cuz i do not have a computer

Also, why did they give us Ender Frames and Eyes of Ender if we can't even go to The End yet? It seems like a bit of a take.
I'd rather wait longer and get a better update than have frequent updates with chopped up content.
You paid for a game you did get the full version of, you PAID for the one that was released, if you want it further, go play on a PC. And they havent left "major" things out of all the updates by any means, the first thing they have left out in a major was has been the End and considering this entire update was an extra one over the planned series you have actually got a lot of stuff early instead.

It's either this, or wait for a full game...which does not exist as PC still gets new content...xbox will be getting stuff sooner than PC, like item descriptions on-screen as you pick up the item. It's not much, but it shows that they are making an effort to keep up
I really do understand the OP and people like him - they look at the PC version and see all the great stuff in it that's still missing from the Xbox version. You can get more than just a little envious by the huge differences. But those people have to understand that 4J obviously are working their butts off to get new content into MC360 as quickly as humanly possible. And if you're really that unhappy with how things are going, buy the PC game. Simple as that.

Truth is I didn't expect this update till mid or end of January by the earliest. I'm surprised that it hit us this soon. They even went so far to say that the end dragon will be soon, that means another update in the near future, i'm hoping 1.2.3, or 1.2.5. So long as it has upside down stairs/slabs, I'll be happy, been waiting along time for these.

All three versions of MC never have been, and never will be, exactly the same.
Trying to compare one to another is a waste of time…. yours and ours.
