The first thing I noticed about the update is that slimes now spawn at a higher altitude. My minecart station is at Y33 and unfortunately seems to be in a slime chunk-it gets overrun rather quickly. So, since light won't keep them away, what else can be done. Slabs, glass, water, lava floors I know, but is there anything I'm missing or other blocks that slimes can't spawn on?
I believe the crafting items like the crafting table, furnace and such, but unsure about those... haven't tried those yet since the 1.7.3 update...
Fences, iron bars, glass panes I would assume as it occupies a space... I would say torches as well, but totally unsure if they mad it so torches no longer count as non-spawnable space.
Also the lily pads too i believe, but that would be along side water so irrelevant. Can't really think of anything else....

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
