This is an old bug that I kept forgetting to post.

To remove a Wooden Half Blocks, you must use a pickaxe instead of an axe. (very anoying when working on roofs). It's as if the block is a clone of a stone half block with a different texture.

Beds become unusable. What I mean by that is, when I got to sleep to reset my spawn point then I die, it says that my bed has been obstructed or I forget what else. I am sure that I have enough space around it. I can stand on it, it's placed on wood, but my house is made of glass, but it was happening before I made my house glass and before TU8.
Not sure if this has ever been mentioned or if it just is supposed to work this way but I can't place a pressure plate on a netherbrick fence post. Sure seems like I should be able to do this for table making since it works with wooden fence.
Animals are even worse after TU8. I'm working on a couple small islands that are close together and the animals are EVERYWHERE. So many that they are constantly in my way as I'm trying to walk around. Tried killing off a bunch of them, but they seemed to be spawning as fast as I could kill them. However, my brother hasn't noticed a big change in animals in his world. What's the deal? Is there something I can do?

They were supposed to 'fix' the animal issue, it's seeming that more issues were made.
Actually the animal issue that was most problematic is the despawning type.... not the spawning type.
The respawn rate looks the same as it did after the 1.8.2 patch... just lots of critters. sooner or later they will just tone it down to what it was like when 1.8.2 came out... Which was slight spawn...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
blocks are still reappearing for me. i made a new world after i downloaded the update and was trying to collect sugarcane. took 3 tries to actually get it. =/
I want to know if anyone else has had issues after the latest update. The things I've been able to notice and - thank God - fix, were the following:
Settings for: Audio - Music and Sound Graphics - Gamma, and Interface Opacity Control - Game Sensitivity, and Interface Sensitivity
^All of the above were set to 0%. Absolutely nothing. Luckily I knew how to adjust these and was playing simply in Peaceful. Had I been playing in Easy or higher, I could likely have been - and pardon my french - screwed.
Also, any check boxes (eg. View bobbing, gamertags, hints, render clouds, bedrock fog, display hud, etc, and etc.) were unchecked. ... Oh and autosave was off... >:\
Basically I had to take the time to go and reset all this crap. Luckily the world looks the same as how I left it... so far... So hopefully no issues there.
(Reposted from new topic - accidentally put in wrong place.)
EDIT:One other thing, and this happened both before AND after the recent update twice. The Minecraft XBOX 360 Edition logo stays on the screen as I play within my world. Both times fixed by leaving the world, and reloading it.
So the newest update came out yesterday. I poured water over my entire city and saved it when I was done. Now every time I try to load my map the animals freeze, blocks reappear when I mine them, they disappear when I place them and it crashes after less than 30 seconds. Any thoughts on how to fix this? I spent A LOT of time on this map...

Unless you had a previous save before you green lighted the Atlantis Project. Then maybe filling in some water before it crashes?

Oh yeah, and blocks reappear when I mine them and disappear when I place them, plus the animals are frozen. It can't even exit the game. It just sits there on the loading screen...

That happened to me the day after the game first came out.

lol that is why it's a bug, it'll be fixxed in a later update. It was like that on PC also until a recent update. it's just like you said, it's because it is just a clone of the cobble slab with a different texture
Not many bugs so far, all I've noticed is :
-ores don't always drop XP
-animals sound like they are taking damage
-durability is really low on tools and weapons (posssible)
-slight block reappearing bug, not major as of yet
-spawners and nether wart are still not guaranteed within nether fortresses
Ever since villages were added. The Blacksmith building, this one, has no chest in it. It's supposed to, but it never does. I've made dozens of worlds with villages and I've never found the loot chest in a Blacksmith building.
Gonna guess it's a bug.

Will this thread be getting wiped to start a new TU8 bug thread? Or do we continue on with this one for TU8?
Just want to be sure before i begin posting.
