the oil spills in the ocean and splotches of color of grass. so ugly.
The "oil spills" actually look quite fitting for a swamp. It's the transation to normal water - or rather the complete lack thereof - that bothers me.
As for bugs, I'm continuously encountering trees hovering mid-air above ravines, lakes, rivers and other kinds of holes and pits in the ground (in new worlds, not pre-update ones). To me it looks like the terrain was created and the trees got placed, and then the ravines, lakes, etc. were created with no regard to the placement of trees. Sorry that I'm not providing screenshots, but for some reason I can't make any at the moment - the game won't let me.

On loading my world, it seems to have converted to a snow biome. The water in my village is turning to ice. This happened on the last update too--various small sections converted to snow biome (on a different map). In addition, my world has rotated 90 degrees. The sun now sets in what used to be the south. Very annoying! I really expect better quality than this for an XBLA title.
Can breed everything but chickens, maybe i need to retry a different world.
This is probably because you are trying to feed them wheat to breed chickens you must feed them seedsThere seems to be trouble when rounding up animals as they are not always responsive
Unable to speed jump/run on a 2 block high hallway as before while simply holding down (a) while running. Sand/Gravel Generators no longer work (I'm sure intentional "fix")

ive spawned 3 different worlds now and played 2 1.0 worlds on a friends xbox. everytime i got to the nether, NO FORTRESSES. i keep trying to no avail. it really is disapointing trying to play survival with no way to get blaze rods or nether bricks unless via creative mode forcing me to forfeit my leaderboard rank and achievements.
Sorry if this has been posted already or If this wasn't a part of the update but it seems that sheep wool still doesn't grow back, not sure if that's still not a part of the update or what. Also I have had issues with mobs not wanting to breed when fed, they go towards each other but no baby animal. I also have had the problem of them not wanting to follow me with wheat.
EDIT: I have only tried this with sheep. Also this world was made from the 1.8 update.
I can't seem to find any Blazes in the Nether. Villagers aren't spawning in my city. I herd and pen animals then they despawn. Chests are turning invisible, and workbenches open a lot slower.
Oh yeah, and all the animals and ghasts are spawning like rabbits. I keep hearing animal fall damage sounds.
When using lilypads to cover water next to my farm I noticed if you don't wait a second or two after placing it to walk on it you will fall into the Lilypad and become stuck until you break it. I got creepered because of this although I will admit I laughed at it though.

Only found two bugs that actually effect me, and a question. Also, love the new colors, especially swamp water.
I'll start with the question. Did they add crescent moons and lunar eclipses and such? Every night it seems it changes shape.
Now for my bugs (I can supply videos if necessary) (Pardon low quality, recorded with a phone)
I cannot sleep through the night. I hit left trigger and it just makes a punching motion. I obtain no message saying i shouldn't be able to sleep, and this only happened after I moved my bed to a new house I had created. Breaking and replacing, along with moving the bed, does not seem to work. Seems that waiting another day fixed the issue for me.
Second bug is while I was playing online with a pal, I noticed in the distance a figure that looked identical to my friends skin (blacksmith). I ran over to discover that it was a clone of my friend, but it wasnt my friend because he was still right next to me. My friend was not able to see the clone, the clone was sentient, and the same gamertag (Whiteboy2412) was displayed over both the clone and my friend. When I hit the clone, the clone attempted to run away, similar to as when you were to hit a pig, cow, etc. but it did not move, other than turning, unless I hit him. When I killed him, he dropped the apple he had in his hand which I was not able to pick up.

Can you please allow people to eat and shoot bows when building and mining trust is off? Bows should count as pvp and there should be an option for hunger.
Also, can you guys please add an option to have certin mobs off.
The animals disappearing randomly is the most annoying feature. Although it seems most of the problems mentioned here vanish with a new world. Upsetting that every update seems to force a restart.
I have found a couple of annoying problems with the new update (TU7). Whilst writing this I have realised that both of these need further investigating.
The first problem is since TU7 on a previously saved world the sun now rises in the SOUTH and sets in the NORTH. I didn't see this as being a problem for new maps untill I remembered the compass. I am guessing that if this bug exists on new maps it might be reflected in the compass appearing to point in the wrong direction. This is something that I am going to have to look at in more detail, it might be worth it if someone else can check. I am guessing this was a mistake when they added the new moon animation. Whoever put the animation back into the game added the wrong parameters.
(I have now checked this and it does appear to affect the compas, eg: the compass points North and the sun will be rising in the North. So if you rely on compasses and the sun to realistically navigate the map you are stuck).
The second problem I had was before TU7 and I need to check if it still happens. After a fire in an area of forest the light animation would stay in place as if a torch had been left down. The light animations would be left in really difficult places, including up trees that were now gone due to the fire. The only solution would be to place dirt down, following the path of the light untill you hit th block it was occupying. Once you had placed a peice of dirt in the centre of the light animation it would go out. As I say I need to check this out to see if its been corrected since TU7.
As an addition to to above has anyone else noticed the textures look grainy since the update ? This is something I noticed straight away so it can't just be my eyes. It was pretty obvious as soon as I loaded my map.
The most annoying bug has to be the sun because my church was built to capture the sunrise through its main window, this is something that won't happen again unless they fix it.

Actually the sun was and has been North south sunset and rise. The compass does not point north, it points to your original spawn point. unless they changed it in this update that is... For me the sun now after the update is east/west. Haven't checked if my older maps have changed to the east/west, but on newer ones it is.

Yes they did add moon changes.
Actually the sun was and has been North south sunset and rise. The compass does not point north, it points to your original spawn point. unless they changed it in this update that is... For me the sun now after the update is east/west. Haven't checked if my older maps have changed to the east/west, but on newer ones it is.
