A series of bugs that have been REALLY pising me off. On my hard mode world, I built a village. Thick cobblestone wall all around it. A creeper blew a hole in the wall. I went into the village to make any repairs needed on the wall. As I was analyzing the damage, a spider crawled through the hole and left me with one heart before I killed it. Suddenly a skeleton killed me. I did not see or hear the skeleton. I did not see it in the hole. Had to have spawned in the village. I entered the village through the door, not the hole. I know I shut the door behind me, and looked around to see if there were any monsters before. Didn't see any. Skeleton had to have spawned in the village, but there was not one square inch of darkness in the village. It spawned where I could not see it. Anyone explain it? Another one. I look back and see a skeleton. I have five hearts left. I climb over a hill. I stop to eat mushroom stew, and the same skeleton kills me with one shot, even though I had plenty of health. I was at least 25 blocks from it at the time. Please fix these bugs people are complaining about. The game is almost frigging unplayable. I can live with limited world size, but an uncountable number of bugs? Come on!
Still an issue with Nether Portal Freezing on Xbox in Survival Mode, Locks up Xbox completely. I have tried tearing down portal and placing somewhere else on the map, still freezes. I guess No Nether in this World, shame because it's our main World. If update can be made for Xbox would be greatly appreciated. Minecraft for Lifer.
Xbox Minecraft is survival only? And survival means we must do everything by hand? We must stay in near contact if we want crops to grow, animals to stay put? This is drudgery, not fun, nor interesting game play. This is a larger bug than the others, but all of a piece. If this is to be the big difference between pc and Xbox, I think pc will win.

Ive never had an issue with my crops after tu3. I could even be in the nether for 5-6 in game days and my crops will still be fully grown out or ready for picking by the time i exit the nether.
As for animals i have a few issues with mine but its mostly a breeding issue.
(Bug) Nether Wart won't grow outside of the Nether, and it is suppose to after the Official Release.
I've had this problem too. Most disappointing. I pulled up the failed plants, and am considering how to reuse the space.
You've misread the Wiki. Netherwart growing outside of the nether was brought into the PC with version 12w27a, which is significantly later than version 1.0.1 (which is where the XBox is currently).

I've also never had an issue with my crops growing. The ticks that cause them to grow are somewhat random by design. Some wheat has grown several stages in a few seconds right before my eyes. it's the same with trees - some saplings will suddenly pop into trees almost as if bonemeal was used on them (even when it wasn't). My understanding is that it is the same on the PC.
Also - XBox Minecraft has creative mode, so it is not survival only.

Same issue with mine. I tried tearing it down and setting somewhere else on map, no luck. Hope they fix it soon.
Yep . . . this happened in the initial release for the Xbox, but then it was fixed. Appeares to have returned with this most recent update.
1. You can't place redstone on glowstone
2. Dig about 15+ blocks down, place glowstone above you, throw an ender pearl at it and if successful, you should be in the glowstone and see through the world. Also known as the old returning x-ray glitch
3. Sprinting against walls will sometimes get you stuck. You either can go over it or get stuck
4. In the Nether, go to the top where bedrock is and throw an enderpearl at the bedrock to go above it. This could lead to crash of game sometimes...
5. Build the nether portal but don't put the last piece in. Lite it on fire and then add it.
6. Pistons will not go through you.Another way to put it: It will not push you
Ill keep u guys posted. Sry 4 bad english im dyslexic.

5 I don't even understand why it is a bug, or even what the bug is...?O_o
I have experienced the sprinting one. I don't think you were able to put it on glowstone in the first place, but then again it was changed to a glass block recently so it was bound to happen.

No. 1 is definitely not a bug. Redstone cannot be placed on a "glass" block. As of version 1.0 on the PC, glowstone was reclassified from "stone" back to "glass." Since our update 1.0.1 incorporated the PC version 1.0, this change was also made on the XBox as of the last update.
So yea i was digging my transportation tunnels to get from one underground mining pit to another and i was away for a long while clearing some side tunnels that connect to the one you see that goes off from this main line. I was away for about 4 in game days and when i came back to unload the chest of the excess materials i saw this.
I am at y12 and grass is growing and i have dug out a massive cavern around this spot after taking this screenshot and the only thing i have seen is a few lava spots within 10 blocks of these 2 and nothing else that would have even attempted to make this. Anyone see this or am i just finding this for the first time?

I've seen it before a few times. I've also seen sugar cane growing underground near lava; and someone else once posted a picture of a flower. I think it's a rare event, but one that's intended in the programming.

My current world has a little grassy spot in the an openish cavern in the middle of an abandoned mine. Was kinda handy as a reference point while I was exploring. If it's a bug, it's a bug I like.
I see that they fixed the xp orb sound and sometimes not appearing, but i hope that they know the eye of ender sound is incorrect when thrown, not sure if it is a bug or not.
when I join a old world the water begins freezing sometimes in old worlds if I left click on a iron door it plays the opening sound
Not sure if you are saying that when you left click on iron door the water freezes or those are two separate things...O_o although if separate I do know that iron door one has been mentioned which is fine.
However the old world freezing sounds like the famous biome shift, which is not a bug/glitch, but in all actuality is just a side effect of new terrain being added to the game. Although they have mentioned that they are thinking about possibly having something to at least keep the old terrain biome the way it was or something like that or making it so you can at least generate old ones... unsure, as unfortunately it is just chatter...

Did they fix not being able to shoot arrows or throw potions when building and mining trust is off? Please someone tell me.
I would say that the answer is "no." In fact, in testing this out this morning with another player in my 1.0.1 Pre-Bug-Fix world, I found that with PVP and Trust Players both disabled on local splitscreen mode (offline), the second player could not even open a gate or a door... and I thought this had been already fixed. As a second test, we both signed out and swapped controllers with exactly the same result. Player 2 could not open the gate or the door. We didn't specifically check out a chest, but I would suspect that Player 2 could not open these as well.
PS: I had already been online and did receive TU8 before this test was made.
ETA: Never mind.. I just thought of what I might have been forgetting to do. I'll test it again later (tonight) if I get a minute.
