This may not be a bug for for my brother, whenever he plays on his profile even on different controllers he always looks down he can't look in any other direction. The game works for me with no problems, only his profile. if anybody has some sort of answer for this problem place let me know. I've already thought of just making a new profile but if there is any other way that'd be great.
Try having him adjust his Minecraft game sensitivites and interface sensitivities - From his controller, press "Start" then select "Help & Options" - "Settings" - "Controls" and you'll see the slide bars. If that doesn't work, back up to "Help & Options" - Controls and check whether or not the "Invert Look" is checked. This option reverses Steve's head movements from the norm.
Also not a bug, but why do we have mipmaps? There not needed, if you remove them the game looks cleaner & the FPS does not drop, that I can tell. (maybe for memory saving reasons?)
Firstly acknowledging that this isn't the right thread for that sort of query, but would it have to do with how items appear in your inventory versus in the game versus what they look like as item drops? Also, unless my understand of mipmaps is wrong, it wouldn't actually save memory, if anything it would use more.
HARD mode bugs: creeper blasts can kill you when you are up to three blocks away from the outskirts of the crater. Arrows bounce off skeletons. Only half of the hits actually count, and endermen sometimes don't get mad when you look at them, but some get mad if you look even in the general direction of them.

unsure if the creeper thing is a bug, after all you are on hard mode. And anything to make hard harder is actually a good thing. Same goes for easy, however haven't run into much that actually dumbed down beyond the damage...lol

My husband's profile had this problem. While in game we went >Start, >Help & Options, >Settings, >Reset To Defaults. We had already checked for southpaw, or inverted look options (whether they'd been turned on. They hadn't.)

on my world built from pre 1.8.2 i have ghasts in the nether destroying my cobblestone
Cobblestone is only resistant to Ghast blasts, not immune. Nether brick might work better.
wolfeUK actually worked out the problem. It wasn't a bug. The cobblestone involved was not regular cobblestone but silverfish cobblestone. Regular cobblestone has a blast resistance of 30, ghast fireballs have a blast power of 20.17. Regular cobblestone should deflect any and all singular hits from ghast fireballs. The Wiki doesn't give a blast resistance figure for silverfish cobblestone, but it is much quicker to break with a pickaxe than regular cobblestone, so it's probably less blast resistant than regular cobblestone. I don't think this issue is a concern for anyone who has built nether defenses from regular cobblestone.
When playing online on a friends world, I experience extreme lag which involves blocks which I have destroyed reappearing and having a lengthy delay before any of my actions are completed. This problem results in the game returning me to the main menu and me having to join the game again. Also, when the game is lagging it often crashes during autosave meaning I have to exit the game myself.
It is a really frustrating problem because once it has started there is no real chance of re-joining the game and continuing to play as it consistantly returns me to the menu after playing for varying amounts of time.
That isn't a bug, just a connection problem between you two. A good way to reduce lag is to cut down on the number of redstone contraptions in the world.
Hi I was playing on peaceful mode in survival and walked into my house to see it was raining inside. I noticed one of my wood blocks was missing, I then walked around my world and noticed that outside where I had made a walkway it looked like it had been blown up creeper style. I am playing alone so I know nobody else did this. Has anyone else experienced this?
EDIT: Upon reading the second post from Steve about the animals I have actually encountered this because they keep spawning in my house. So I try to lead them out and sometimes they ignore me completely or they can't get out of the house till I remove the door.
Since minecraft hit xbox 360 i have had a issue with getting stuck in blocks(pistons mostly) on piston elevator builds i do. Is there anyway you can finally patch this issue.. thanks

I did end up finishing the note block setup and it is as I feared: unless I'm within a fairly short range of them, I can't hear them, and I have to walk along with the blocks (Song of Storms) in order to hear it all and even then. It isn't exactly a major gamebreaking OMG THIS HAS TO BE FIXED ASAP issue, but if it could be tweaked so that these sounds have a better range so that we can use music disks and note blocks more passively, or hear ghasts before they're assaulting us, that'd be very much appreciated. As it is, I wouldn't mind putting more note block songs in, but it feels like a waste of time at the moment. I don't want to make something that uses them as a part and have to walk over them to hear it, I want to activate something, or for something to happen, and be able to use the blocks as an accent to a mechanism, or as an alert of some event, neither of which is extremely viable if you're not within the short distance.
I have a seed (-5712852956005385026) that me and several guys made a city around an island. Its a nice length. Its not very large but its pretty big. We have the entire city blocked offf and its like 50 blocks high approx. and we have a glass roof over the top. When we did creative move everything worked fine.
But when we went to survival everytime we chopped blocks it would reappear but the items still in our inventory. Doors are being messed up with the bottom half closed and the top half open. Not to mention people saying the lag is fairly bad also. But me and 1 other guy just went into the world just us and still the same problem. Do we have 2 many blocks in one area or is this a fixable bug?
1,)Players can't create a unlimited amount of snow golems.
2.)Fully charging a bow should leave a critical stream of particals, but does not after a while.
3.)Hitting another player with a sword with the "Sharpness" enchantment should leave particals, but does not.
4,)Magma Cubes should not commonly spawn in random places in The Nether. They should spawn in nether fortresses.
5.)Particles of status effects are only one color, but should be matching the color of it's potions.
6.)Redstone can be used in a breweing stand even if the potion cannot be extended. e.g:Potion of Healing,Potion of Harming
7.)the "Protection" enchantment is over powered when level "IV"
8.)When playing Split Screen, when another player throws a "splash potion" the particles it leaves on impact cannot be seen unless a certain distance from 1st Player
9.)Ghasts can only be heard when up close, and they're sounds are unusually loud
10.)When thowing a "Ender Pearl" at a roof or ceilling will make the player suffocate
11.)Cave spiders are bigger than they're usual size.
12.)Nether fortresses are wierdly generated since the Nether is not unlimited yet
13.)Generated structures are limited where to be generated since worlds are not unlimited
12.)When playing split-screen Only the 1st player can hear sounds and particals that other players cannot see or hear unless a certain distance from the 1st player
13.)When breeding wolves the baby wolf does not spawned tamed
if you have powered rails going up a slope and water goes down the slope the water will destroy the rails. they do not get washed away THEY GET DESTROYED.
A bug that has been bothering me for quite a while now is that if you have double doors and you place pressure plates in front of both of them, the doors act weird, like opening one door up and shuting the other one.

This is by default. If you want to work pressure plates for a double door i would suggest using this trick.
If you want to make it to where the doors dont open from the outside then just use the pressure plate on the inside only.

Only having 8 chickens is meant to be there, Same with snow golems you can only have a certain amount spawned at a time or else the game will lag out

This behavior should get patched eventually, as it did on PC.
