wanted to have water wash over wheat crop.. but i have 2 rows of wheat then water, 2 rows of wheat ect..... when i try to use water to wash over , it will not spread.. if i remove the water between the rows it will..... use to work fine.........
I made a seed after TU7 update (actually, I made two but this concerns the second one.) Since the update had changed the weather patterns drastically in my old world I was very unhappy, and made the seed: YOUR WORLD GENERATOR SUCKS! I made it in Creative, as I wanted to avoid wasting my time on another Taiga/Icy Plains world. Considering my feelings during seed generation, the seed turned out pretty well. There was a Nether Fortress with Blaze spawner, a Mooshroom Island, and a Stronghold. True, the Mooshroom Island was a little far out, but for Mooshrooms I'd make adjustments.
Cut to a few weeks later, and I make my seed (252519808) in Survival. I go searching for Atlantis (my new name for the Mooshroom Island), to find that location on my map is a sunken swamp island. No above water land mass, no mycelium, no Mooshrooms. I did find a Stronghold, but it's lacking most of the chests that were there before. I hesitate to search for the Fortress; I feel so disappointed. As a last kick in the teeth, this world is freezing into - you guessed it - Taiga and Icy Plains!
I'm not sure if this is my Xbox or my world, but whenever I try to enter the nether on one of my worlds, the game freezes. I have no problems on other worlds. My roommate and I were able to go in time and time again, but suddenly I can't enter it. Not sure if this is a bug or not.
Dispensers no longer work when powered through a repeater, as below
Dispenser - Repeater - Redstone
or
Dispenser - block - repeater - redstone
the dispensers are the right way round, they always worked before
I can confirm this. If you power a block next to or below a displenser, using a repeater, the dispensor fails to activate. However, if you add a redstone torch on the side of the block, it will activate; then powering the block through the repeater works. It's as if the dispensor must be powered first, however the torch added is on the side of the ajacent block and should not be powering the dispensor at all.

Pistons are gitting triggered randomly in my Melon harvestor. also powered blocks on the pushing surface activate the piston. preventing it from being deactivated.

Repeater -- Melon -- Repeater -- RS-power
Block ------- Sand --- Block
Air ---------- Piston -- Air
When the melon grows a signal passes through, giving a way to detect growth and triger an alarm and/or harvester. The arrangement above is in a row.
As the melons grow the piston below often (but not always) gets triggered.
Placing ANY block (not just redstone) next to the piston tiggers the piston, raising the sand. However once redstone power passes through the sand via the repeater, the piston does not deactivate. The top of the piston should not receive power this way.

... I keep having issues with breading animals. Sometimes they'll bread fine, other times, they won't...
UNCONFIRMED. It seems there is a cap on the number animals,
If I have too many chickens they stop breading, If I have too many sheep, cows don't breed. I killed all my captive sheep, and now the cows are breading again. Also it seems if you have a very large farm, you won't find many animals else where on the world.
The xBox version went from a) random animals with sheep that grew hair, to finite animals a sheep that don't grow hair, and no way to breed them, to c) a fairly larget finite animal count, where you can breed up the the cap. (sheep still don't grow hair)
This also seems to be the source of the despawning animal problem others have reported, I routinely kill animals in the wild so my farm animals don't despawn.

I've found this out around when I first got MineCraft for the Xbox about 3-4 months ago, and completely forgot to mention it until I saw it again last night when coloring wool. There is an option to make white wool from bone meal and white wool. Whats the point of crafting white wool from white wool? Shouldn't that be any other wool combined with bone meal to make white wool?

This is actually a long-standing and known bug in all current versions of Minecraft, that apparently won't be fixed.
Basically, a piston can get power from a block that is vertically 2 blocks above it, or diagonally adjacent to the block from the vertical, but only after a block update next to the piston (meaning that a block is changed - placed, grows, moves, is powered, etc - adjacent to the piston).
It's a very confusing bug and it baffles me why it's not being addressed, as it basically defies the logic of how redstone and powered blocks are supposed to work and just causes more problems than it benefits. I think the main argument for keeping it is that it allows certain contraptions to be more contained ... but at the expense of making other contraptions impossible or more difficult, not to mention baffling most of us trying to understand how redstone works.
when you normally walk on farming land it becomes normal dirt dunno if this is a bug or if it is meant to be fixed in a later update 4J can you give any insight?

That's normal. Crouching on farmland will stop that from happening. Mobs still ruin farmland though, and this will change in future updates I believe.
Re Blaze Spawning Bug: I created the tutorial world numerical seed three times today, 2X in survival mode and 1X in creative mode. In the one creative mode world, the blaze spawner in the Nether fortress was not there. In one survival mode creation, I saved and exited and then re-entered the world in creative mode and then went into the nether. Again, the blaze spawner in the Nether fortress was not there. In the second one created in survival mode, I continued in survival mode and molded a nether portal and entered the Nether with going into creative mode. The blaze spawner WAS there that time, exactly in the same place as it is in the Tutorial. This is similar to the Mineshaft disappearances I reported earlier after having started the Tutorial world as the tutorial. There is clearly a bug related to the generation of structures in creative mode.
This glitch happens to me everytime. If im fighting a mob (Creeper, zombie, ect.) And then the game autosaves, after the autosave the mob runs really fast towards me for a few seconds. Creepers kill me everytime this happens, Is anyone else noticing this?
After the recent Update to Xbox, everything has been working great. I Loaded a new world and tried out basically all the new features. Everything worked basically perfectly. Except when i finally made a potion table I went back to the nether to Find nether wart. I was unable to find at that time so i left the nether. Later when my friends joined the game to work on there parts of the world, we decided to go explore the nether. Unfortunately during the loading screen the game froze. Now no matter how i try to enter the nether, whether its a new portal or the old, I always freeze on the load screen. I can continue to use party chat but no other aspects of the xbox respond. In-fact I have to hit the power button twice on the slim and then it still takes about 30 seconds from the time the xbox light goes off for the game to shut off.
Bottom line is, Nether freezes when I try to enter and I never had any issues that would corrupt the save.
i made a post before about that and i dont know if its an issue of tu7 but my world was cut off for no reason
info about my world: i started the map between tu6 and tu7 and explored my world after tu7 but its pointless because the world already fully generates when you start it - right ?
so here are some screenshots <snip>
This isnt a bug. What happened was any unloaded chunks pre-TU7 were loaded with the new biome code after the update.

Confirmed.
I dont use the autosave feature but this also happens with manual saves.

Im not certain but I think Mojang allows this bug to stay because BUD switches are so useful. It may actually get fixed once they release the BUD Block though.
Personally I hope 4J leaves this bug alone - I like exploiting it.
I've had a good look and can't find this listed anywhere..
When an enchanted pick or shovel breaks, when I move a new one to the hot bar using quick move, this breaks within a few strokes and re appears in my inventory list.
I can take up to 10 seconds to re appear.
It happens when replacing with either enchanted or non enchanted item.
There is a video of something similar happening in connection with the blocks reappearing bug. 4J Steve created a thread about a week ago asking for more info on the blocks reappearing bug. After your post, I remembers that I also had something similar happen to me way, way back in 1.6.6 where I had two pickaxes break right after I transferred them to my hand (As I recall, I reported in on that bug thread at the time). I was really new to Minecraft back then and didn't keep good track of my inventory, so I don't really know whether the pickaxes eventually turned back up in my inventory or not. .

Myself, I'd rather have a compass that pionted north. Knowing which way the spawn point is is pretty useless underground.
to breed chickens you need to use seeds and for wolves I think it just needs meat
