The update will be out tomorrow but the thin is I can't get it because I have tried to update 3 games and after two hours they are still at 1% maybe because my phone bill is over by one day or I don't no what's happening
Just to let you know The "phone companies" like ATT sell internet it is called ATT Uverse, there are others if you don't pay your phone bill you don't have internet, or they limit your connection, and downloads to you resolve your bill.
They also provide cellular service as well so you can get it all under on roof as they call it or bundle it as a package. The problem is if you don't pay every thing goes off, not just one thing.
Under the new laws they have to provide 911 service even if there is no dial tone now because of recent home deaths, that is it a cell phone even if it has no service will dial 911..

Is your memory full on your Xbox hard drive or getting close to being full? That would prevent games from downloading. Maybe clear out some stuff you don't play anymore and also maybe reset your modem and/or router.

He could just pay the past due and make a arrangement to pay the balance at a later date, I do that all the time.
I float 146.00 bill every month and pay the past due because of medical bills just don't miss the arrangement date or it will go off in 24 hours with a 50 reconnect fee, plus a location fee 50

lol, was waiting to see if someone would say that, lol. he's right, if he is on xbox live then it's not the internet. sounds like a corupt.... wait a min, what game is the update for? try canceling the update and download a demo or something, just to see if maybe it's the update, memory, or maybe internal. not to sure, but what can it hurt to try.
Cancel, DL a Demo and see what happens.

Yes, but companies might limit service if the bill is overdue/ gone over the limit which would explain extremely slow downloads.
