I'm just asking since people are probably gonna get mad when they spent all their time working on a world to find out they don't have an End Portal in a stronghold or a Nether Fortress.
It'll save some time to not make a Nether Portal in Creative to see if you got a fortress or to use the TNT X-ray glitch to see a End Portal Block, or better yet, to make an End Portal in your house(which I think many people will do).
I'm assuming some people want the answer to this too. But ifthis does happen will it happen in pre-generated worlds?
Nether fortresses - yes, if haven't been to nether yet
End, - no, not till TU8

I am talking WHEN the game updates to 1.2.3, will the generated structures actually generate.
I was assuming that when I was talking about Nether Fortresses, I was refering about the next update.
Like all have said yes if you not been to the nether. On a newly generated world, which is a given, they will most definitely. As for when 1.2.3 comes out the end will only be able to generate if you have an end portal in place. Which means if the stronghold happens to be in one of the unexplored chunks of the world then I bet the portal would generate with it. But that is just speculation as the next update coming soon will not have the end at the moment. That will be left for the 1.2.3 update, when it comes.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.

I haven't found a stronghold in my ocean world. Note I haven't explored a lot of the underground as it is hard to get to without drowning. There is an insane amount of ravines though.

Forum AdminThis is my guess, but we'll probably be limited to one fortress in our nether like we are limited to one strong hold per map. <- NOT CONFIRMED
