My brother and I want to play split screen on minecraft, but it doesnt work. We have an HD tv but it still won't work. Please Help.

Sorry buddy, But you need a HDMI cable cord to play split-screen.

There is a step-by-step guiding for setting up to play splitcreen on the Minecraft Wiki:

Please note that, contrary to the post above, you can use RGB component cables or HDMI cables (I have personally played it both ways, so I know for sure that either will work).

Make sure your display settings on your XBox are set to 720p or higher.
