I don't know if I'm putting this in the relevant section or if this is already been asked, but I'm sure if something is wrong I'll hear about it so here goes.
Does anyone know what seed Achievement Hunter used for Achievement City? Has it shown up in any of their videos? And how can I access it with the latest update?
I was also wondering this. Although, it was pre-1.8, so the seeds have changed. Unfortunately, I believe that specific seed is no longer the same as in the videos.
Maybe I haven't really noticed? Its a pre-1.8 seed so i don't think you can get it.

If it's pre 1.8 like Genki said then you're probably not going to find it (because of all the terrain changes.)
You can use MC Nostalgia to get a Pre Beta-1.8 version, to load the map, but once you load it in 1.4.7/1.5 the terrain that generates outside of the already generated chunks will generate differently. It may even be a different biome, so explore as much as possible (at least as far out as what we know to be the map in Achievement City,) before loading in 1.4/1.5
EDIT: Found this thread via Google, sorry for offering misinformation.
We don't have MC Nostalgia on the XBox so that's not really going to work.
Has anyone tried the seed to see just how different it is under the new generation scheme?
I'll check it out on my Xbox tonight; however, I notice from the website that the world was started on or before May 11, 2012 (which would make it a 1.6.6 world, so it is most likely VERY different if generated now). However, the Achievement City Let's Play webiste does indicate a change of world's in Episode 30 and again in Episode 36 (which aired February 1, 2013). The seed string given in the post above is from Episode 38 (which aired February 15, 2013), so this map seed should be a current one.Ref: http://roosterteeth...._Play_Minecraft

30 was Achievementville, to find a Mooshroom, they didn't as the map didn't have a Mushroom biome. 36 was part two of the potion LP, with part one in Achievementville, but Achievementville's Nether Fortress didn't have a Blaze spawner.

No point in my checking it out then. It will be significantly different between the 1.6.6 generation of it and now.
So I may be really late in saying this, but if you uninstall the updates from your xbox, it will generate the seed the same way it was generated in achievement hunter's let's plays. to do this go from the startup dashboard on the xbox, go to settings > system > storage, then enter the storage device that minecraft is saved on. enter games and apps, then select minecraft, scroll down and delete the file named Minecraft Title Update. now launch minecraft and create a new world using the seed in Coin2p's post above and viola!
WARNING!: before reinstalling the update, walk around the world and generate all of the chunks, fill the map up, otherwise it will generate the world differently with the new biomes when you "discover" a new area.
