They decided there wouldn't be any practical way to integrate it that wouldn't be a waste of time. They also said that it's probably just never going to happen.
Kinect is horrible! The tracking lags... It cant find you unless right color and distance plus as it was said no practical use, i like the idea of kinect on xbox but i think its going to be glitchy until the new xbox, kinect is to durpy i think anyway
The only good way to integrate kinect would be to do it like Skyrim does, although I cant see many commands being useful. It's cool with Skyrim cause it helps u navigate menus and use the shouts but alls I can see with commands is shouting "Inventory" and then "crafting"

To be honest saying Minecraft would be connectable with Kinect seems like a far-fetched bargin to attempt to boost the sales of the Kinect.
If I had Kinect and played minecraft, I would use nothing but diamond pickaxes. Could you imagine how tiring it would be to pick 200 pieces of stone with a wooden pickaxe.
Thank goodness we won't have to worry about kinect.
Digging 200 stone would be bad enough, but can you imagine climbing a mountain?
I'm guessing, but I get the feeling that they tried it internally, but after 15 minutes they had to call 911.

I know but quick saving and use in creative mode for when you are searching for a item you need. ie: "ice" in return ice in available slot or it will replace what you select. overall its useless.

It just wouldn't work. Adding all of the controls onto the kinect seems impossible. But yeah using your voice to enhance the game play seems like a great idea!

Its funny how the best way to integrate kinect into non-kinect games is best accomplished by adding features that can be accomplished with a simply mic
you guys do realize that kinect integration doesnt necessarily entail full control of your character via kinect, right? like in need for speed you're able to switch car modifications mid-race which is very difficut to do without wrecking, but through kinect you can just tell it which mods to switch and you dont have to use any tricky finger work to drive and manipulate the d-pad at the same time while your HUD is gone.
