How about until we get the luring option, have animals drown after like 10 minutes of being in the water. Or even keep it when they add luring. The reason why people aren't finding animals is because they're all swimming in the ocean, not respawning.

The next update is going to have breeding and luring animals with wheat so its kinda pointless to add this...
aye good point, it is always a fun to do alittle snorkling
but usually, most often I'm way to impatient to do that much work whereas on land the items just drops right then and there with no hassle and such.
at least you have animals on the island. i see about 2 cows every ten minecraft days

It wouldn't be so bad trying to pick them up if it wasn't so dark down there.
That's when pumpkins come in handy along with lots of extra dirt/sand/gravel to set them on underwater. Of course I have never truly had problems with them swimming out to ocean, since they are usually out of range of the area I work in. So more end up respawning anyway... The only thing I don't really like of the animals right now is how much they tend to jump around...><

yeah i hardly find apples. never have found a watermelon and i think cake has too much ingrediants
