I read on the Minecraft wiki for Xbox that breeding and some other cool features will be added to version 1.2.3 for the Xbox edition, anybody know when that update will come out?
The next update is TU7 1.01. TU8 is 1.23. (Comfirmed by 4j)
No one knows but best inferences is early to late January for TU7.
Also, just thought you'd know it is against the rules to post about updates.

You can breed chickens by collecting their eggs and throwing them in a pen. They wont despawn and they cant escape. This yeilds eggs (for cake) and chicken. No real point in capturing animals, just kill them outright lol
Actually, the next version we're getting is 1.0.1, not 1.2.3 (Ninja'd). It's a smaller update that adds in just about everything everyone has been waiting for.

4J said that TU7 will basically be 1.2.3 without The End. When that is coming, I don't know. The latest estimate I've seen someone say on here is March, but 4J hasn't said anything about a date yet.
Oh darn. I'm pumped for breeding to happen. Tired of trying to trap all of my animals just to get supplies.
