So, I was taking a shower, (Best place to come us with ideas) and I thought of, well, full customization seeds.
Bare with me on this one, 1.8.2 came with super-flat option, right?
Well why not add this along with it:
Biome Selection
When jungles come out, I want to try to find the biggest jungle I can for a jungle survival map. right now, I'd like an all snow biome. Some people want all extreme hills, ocean, etc. Well when you create a world, default have all the biomes checked, then when you input the seed, it develops as is, but if you uncheck, say, desert, it won't make one and instead, more plains, or whatever is around it.
What level you want the surface to start at
I think most worlds that have plains, the default surface level is around 60? I could be wrong. Well, why not have an option where you could pick from like 30-60, that way, you can have a higher building limit, without sacrificing the mountains and such because of superflat. Plus, seeing 90+ block tall mountains would be pretty cool.
Let me know what you guys think, and if you guys have any suggestions
Yet another suggestion to lead Minecraft down the path of Dwarf Fortress. This one is actually a pretty good idea, which doesn't sacrifice the simplicity Minecraft has earned such renown for. I approve of this thread. Proceed to carry on in a reckless manner. *salutes*
I have mentioned this multiple times on two different profiles months ago and no one says "hey good idea". Everyone is always just rewording others past posts. I would like if this option was added because my worlds are usually full of water and other things I don't want.
