Have you notice that too much TNT at once will not always fully detonate like parts will be not destroyed but TNT is gone? Is it a bug or game doesn't allow for it?

There's a new limit on the amount of TNT that can be activated within a short period of time.
Thank you for the poor optimization 4J! Just ran into a issue last night with a retractable lighting system. It consists of 40 block swappers, 3 pistons each for a total of 120 pistons. Without a massive delay in between sets, some of the sticky pistons simply wont pull their blocks down for the swap. (And yes N_J I double checked my pulses to make sure they are long enough and whatnot, and tested each mechanism individually, I even slowed the swappers down themselves.) Because of the size of the area I had to use a certain number of repeaters just to hook it all up, but had to greatly increase that number to get it to work right. So instead of these lights turning on within a few seconds of each other, it now takes about 30 seconds. Oh and I can forget about trying to show it to someone in the laggy MP. Ugh, the sad thing is this was supposed to just be the first part of the lighting system, I had plans for much much more but now... I feel I may be wasting my time
