Ok, so most people have now found minshafts with cave spiders/spawners, I have found maybe 10+.
On my last build, I cleared the mineshaft of all wood and minetracks, and used them elsewhere. I also cleared out all the cobwebs and used them for my carpets. Wouldn't it be good if you could lay carpet/wool down like the snow is on grass blocks? Not even half a block, more like a quarter block? That'd be sooo cool.
Anyway, back to what I was saying....
When you get the cave spider spawners, there is a lot of cobwebs around them, usually something like 30+ at least. I usually clear these aswell.
What I've noticed on my worlds is that the cobwebs do not re-appear, or are 'placed' by the spiders.
Are they/do they reappear? Do they get laid again by the spiders? If so, how long does it usually take?
No it's still a cave spider spawner. Cobwebs are just that cobwebs. Things move slowly through them and when you break them you get string, and that's it no magic there.
