I am not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but I just download the fix update for the xbox and now my barn with my fenced off chickens seems to be having problems. Some how the chickens are able to get past the fences I have up. I have never had this problems before the fix update. Has this chicken escaping problem happened to anyone else?
Known bug, you should probably put this in the bugs section though. Only way around it is to make the wall 2 high wall of fence that (even if it touches walls) has complete corners. Otherwise they somehow can get out.

I have the same problem....had a nice farm 20+ chickens...went slime hunting came back and had two...

The fix forum is soo long. Could anyone tell me if there was a problem with red flowers not spawning? I know when the new update came out I had a hard time finding them, I have not really explored too much since the fix to see if I can find red flowers easier.

Red flowers are rarer than yellow flowers. They are like red mushrooms (:
Same with pumpkins, pumpkins are actually rarer than diamonds.
Lapis is just as rare as diamond but is more spread out. You'd be surprised what you can learn from this;

Yeah, I lost a lot of chickens when they decided to escape.. I was getting tired of trying to get them back into the fenced area so I just started killing them... haha I have so many eggs though so I am sure I will have my chicken farm back once the next update comes out.

Wow, I did not know red flowers were so rare. Before the new update I could find them all over the place, since then I have not been able to find any. I wish the yellow ones were the rare ones. I like the red carpet look better than yellow. haha
Try digging a 8x8x4 with a fence around it. Perfect farm for any animal.

if you have fence next to a block, that is how they are getting out. In a situation like that I would suggest using a fence gate next to blocks for now. or completely surround them in with fence.
I haven't really tried to capture any of the passive mobs yet since I am waiting till they have breeding in...lol

not that I know of. fence gates actually go all the way to the block. it is the regular fences that do not attach to blocks yet. And that is where most the problems arise from the reduced hit box. i'll have to try and make sure, but someone else posted about using gates for now a while back after the initial update patch...

I built one of those egg harvester buildings that automatically gives you the eggs using water and on the top section where the chickens go, I had two escape for no apparent reason, but the other 4 I have in there currently have stayed and not got out. It was weird >.<
To fix your flower problem build a shelter over green covered dirt, about a 10x10, make sure there isn't any light and bonemeal the hell out of the dirt. Since there is no light the grass and flowers that the bonemeal grows pops right out of the ground itself, you're sure to get more than plenty.

Interesting, I never knew that. I will be trying that later today. I didn't start playing Minecraft until it came out on the xbox and now I am hooked, So thanks for helping. =]

You know how chickens don't really fly but they kind of glide when they fall of of something? Maybe when they try to jump over the fence, it glitches and lets them fly over it
