Has anyone made a pyramid starting from the absolute furthest corners of their maps that covered the entire world? I was thinking about doing this just do do it. Perpetual night, seems kinda interesting lol.
Yeah...I don't have that kinda time...I might be able to do like 5 Rows day or something...
Either way the idea sounds cool But, your really just srinking your map size.
At this stage of the game, you'd run out of vertical layers before you managed to bring the pyramid to the center, unless you did something different than a 1 up and 1 in pattern - something like 4 layers straight up then one block in all around.

Yeah, that and after spending so much time doing it, you visibility limitations mean you would actually get to see much of it either
If you started in each corner you'd have to do a level, move in 4 blocks, then build up another level, move in 4 blocks, etc. to keep from hitting the sky limit.
While you could do it, it would take you a long time, and you'd never be able to see the whole thing at once anyway. And once you got it done, then what?

Crikey - right you are! I KNEW I should have gone back for that second cup of coffee this morning. (totally embarrassed)
I have a 100x100 pyramid(sorry no pics yet, it isn't finished on the inside yet) and it was a long project. Now I'm a survival nut so it could be done easier on creative, but I think its about as big as you would wanna build without it looking weird or getting chopped by draw distance. Now covering the map in one giant pyramid?!? Ha! and Nose_Job calls ME crazy....
If you raise the level one black at a time, it probably will exceed the height. But it's probably possible if you move 4 blocks, then make it 1 block higher.
I saw someone who did a 500x500 pyramid. so long ago (back in 1.6)

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
Kinda going off the top of my head, but if I recall correctly, the 360 world is 862 x 862 x 128, with the height being the limiting factor. So no, you would not be able to construct this in its total glory, at bets, you'd be able to do a 128 x 128 pyramid if you went up 1 block for every level. If you made the slope of the pyramid a little lower, than I suppose you could expand it out, but an 862 x 862 would look a little odd.
Again, just kinda off the top of my head, if anyone can say otherwise, please correct me.
World height: 129 (128?).
Possible height: That - 1 (assuming everything is removed).
If the base-height ratio is 1:1, you would not be able to fill up even half of the map with it.
...And you'd make a massive gray blob on the map.
Depending on what color it is, if it's grass, the "blob" will be green

if done 1:1 angle you would need a height of nearly 500 blocks, you would have to drop it to 4:1 angle on super flat and would take over 750 thousand blocks...........and a LONG time......
750,000 blocks if the pyramid was hollow... My 100x100x25 city (plus the 60x50x25 2nd edition and 75x75xy) is over 500,000 blocks
