I would love an option to turn off creepers. I like the zombies, skeletons ect. But an option to turn off creepers maybe just on easy would be very nice.
First few days of a new minecraft save they are really anoying but after my lil house is done and I have put down some traps for them, Towers, Windows an obsideon door ect. I really love them. They pretty easy if you carry around an iron sword though. Hit once and back off then rush up and hit twice and then collect your gunpowder. Only have been able to make 11 TNT so far due to most of my traps involving Cacti or Lava. As for endermen same story really i noticed that unlike water they do not teleport away from cacti apon touching it so i also have quite abit of ender pearls. So no problem. Hardest enermy for me is proble cave spiders as one bite will bring you down to half health cause of there poison and i play on normal.

This is a really nice idea. I would definitely like to keep this one afloat.
The first time I played Minecraft, I saw a creeper and was wondering what it does. I got next to it and expecting it to like slap me or something, it blew up in my face and I died.
ah, the creeper the one thing I just despise about minecraft.
I wish all the time that this monster was left a mistake. Whether you're exploring a cave or you're just relaxing in the fort you've created for yourself and spent countless hours perfecting the redstone circuitry throughout. There's always at least one somewhere nearby, waiting in the darkness for you to come within range of a preemptive strike. or just close enough for it to rush you and explode with little warning while you're just taking a stroll through your garden or laying floorplans for an addition to your keep.
I'm just saying my minecraft world would be a better place without everything at risk of demolition constantly.
So, what are your opinions about this coding error turned menace?
Hey you should check out my PAC: Players Against Creepers thread! Just type it into the search bar! There are a few funny comments within!
whaaaa?
minecraft wouldn't be minecraft without the creepers!
i have yet to see a lightening charged/lightening hit/weird/whatever they're called creeper though. sadface.
As expected, a lot of mixed emotions here. some think the creeper is a must, others despise the creature, like myself. I guess it also depends on how you play the game, what mode you play on and what you're trying to accomplish in your map. some people are obsessed with zombies, others just want to make a house and raise cattle lol.
The Creeper is the most hated enemy in Minecraft, but it is also the most loved. The 'A' in the giant floating sign in the Minecraft Xbox Tutorial World is a Creeper. I love the creeper. Skeletons and Zombies are way too easy.

Back on topic, creepers are a bit annoying, yes. But they're pretty much the mascot of Minecraft. There are people who don't even play MC, yet they know what a creeper is. Besides, the damage they do inflict isn't that bad. Well... on the environment anyway... they're pretty devastating to poor Steve though.
People still find creepers bad? Even after the 1.8.2 update? The bow takes them out in two full charges shots, 2 hits with a diamond sword, a running knock back attack followed by two quick hits with an iron sword and they are dead. Not to mention the block mechanic being able to survive a point blank creeper blast with no armour by blocking. I love creepers they are helping me clear land on my survival world. I just run up and block...Boom! Thanks mister creeper man

I just wish they weren't so quiet. I wouldn't mind them if I had some kind of warning that they were near me :/

"Only the trees which you know are not trees for food you may destroy and cut down, to build siegeworks against the city that makes war with you, until it is subdued." (Deuteronomy 20:20 NKJV)
I kinda think thats what makes creepers even more dangerous. They sneak up to you and let out the most damage, plus they're a pain to attack even when you know where they are, but hey, it's fun.

Having to fight 6 creepers one after another every 10 minutes is. I don't know why but I always have 4 or so creepers for any other mob of any sort.
This is a really nice idea. I would definitely like to keep this one afloat.
