I was just playing survival solo offline because I haven't renewed my XBL subscription yet. TV Volume was on pretty loud, and I hear what sounds like a teenage guy say "Uuhhh-uhhhhh" kind of sing-song like with the pitch decreasing on the second syllable. The sound was much higher pitched than a zombie. It was during the day and did not sound like any sound I've ever heard before in Minecraft. It sounded like a person with a high end mic. I have a wolf-dog but I've never heard him do anything but whine or bark... Also, I'm basically alone in my dorm because everyone else is home for the Thanksgiving, so it wasn't anything from real life. What the heck was it? Has anyone ever heard that sound before? It wasn't creepy per say, but I'm weirded out. PLEASE HELP.
EDIT: It was not any zombie sound, it was much higher pitched than that. It was completely unfamiliar to me. I'm not new to the game.
Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
There's a possibility that you were in private chat, and somebody was trolling you. Other than that, it was most likely a zombie, which utter scary moans and grunts. Since you couldn't find the source, it was most likely underground in a small cavern.
I know zombies make that moaning sound. It was not that sound. That sound zombies make to me is "UUUUHhhhhhhhh." I know it's hard to to get across, but it was much higher pitched than any zombie sound, which are low. It wasn't private chat either, I wasn't even connected to Xbox Live.
I know what you want us to say, and no. It was NOT the one who shall not be named. Discussing him on this forum is (for some reason) forbidden. If you're telling the truth, then I'm stumped. There's no mob in Minecraft that does this. Maybe a glitch occured, causing the zombie voice to become higher pitched..?
It was not any Endermen sounds either, if these are all of them. It literally sounded like someone with a good mic saying 1 thing. I've never heard it before.

What's the closest mob(creature) you think it could've been? What you're saying is interesting. Not saying I don't believe you but I'm alittle skeptical.
Edit: It could've been a whole lot of mobs together at once below you, possibly a cave, and it was the noise that made it sound like a person.
Or a music disk that you unknowingly put in.
Maybe you were hallucinating have you taken any hallucinogens lately?
You can even get hallucinations when going off sleeping pills or alcohol and is not limited to... Those drugs.

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
You can't go around calling everybody a liar, that doesn't make any sense. You would never know if he's telling the truth or not.
Over 4 million people play Minecraft on the Xbox 360. A somewhat small, but very active and vocal portion of that, exist here on the forum. If it were actually something in the game, I'm sure someone else would have reported it by now.
Even though your offline, if you're mic is plugged in, you may be hearing someone on the other end.
Could you record it or something, so we can hear exactly what it is?
