Ok, so I built a nice wooden house with a stone foundation and basement. I only have 1 door because I heard there was a double door glitch, and the outside is lit while the inside is WELL LIT. I even added a ton of torches just to make sure it wasn't the problem. There are 3 spaces between the bed and outside, which is lit anyways. Zombies still spawn every time I go to sleep. Where are they coming from? I'm almost at the point where I'm just going to rebuild my house. Please help.
Do you have a big enough house to put in a bedroom? Or a second floor addition?
Or, you can try replacing your whole floor with glass or half-slabs, mobs can't spawn on those.
