Alright so i made a new world since the update. I have 3 people on my world everyday when i'm on [myself, friend and friend]. Every 10 minutes one or two of them will say "i'm lagging" or "did i lag out". Then they cant mine blocks and just disconnect and come back in. Sometimes they just lag and dont lag out and they have to leave and come back. I [the host] never lag in my own server. We all live in 2 mile radiusus from each other. Does anyone else experience this?
1) Everyone does. IT is just their internet that sucks
2) You are aware a mile is (I believe) 1700 meters. (something like that, maybe 1760). And the world is only about 854 blocks long. You can't live in a 2mile radius:) Unless you are talking about real life

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.

yes in real life...... o.o
and we all have good connection [atleast in every other game]
Minecraft actually uses the host's xbox as the server compared to other games that use a server, (Halo, Call of Duty, Gears of War, ect...). If you are the host, it may be that you aren't lagging because the connection is fine for yourself, but when others connect to your system, it may not be strong enough to handle many people, and like it's been said above, it could be the quality of your friend's connections also.
How does knowledge of a mile say I play mc too much?
And by the world I mean the mc world. That's why I clearly said UNLESS you are talking about real life
It was just a joke, calm down.
Besides, he obviously means real-life, as distance in-game is irrelevant. Real world distance doesn't hold much significance either, but the average person assumes it does.
OP: If your PC is on the same network as your Xbox, do this speed test and post your upload speed. It's generally recommended to have a speed of at least 3 Mbps (note, that's megabits, not megabytes) to host a server. The same applies for a host on an MCXBLA world, as your 360 is a server in this situation.
That speed should be fine. Upload is usually slow on cable internet, while download is 8-20 mbps. If MC needs several mbps of upload speed for a server, then only a minority of users are going to be good hosts.

...
this is true for so many other reasons than upload speed.
