I was playing on a server that I just joined (Reflexcraft) i was given several choices for a job and i choose to be a miner and as i went down to find some iron butter (gold) maybe even a diamond or two and as i was venturing in a cave i saw a dark alacove so i walked in. WIthout any light i saw a ton of ores so i ran ran back to grab a torch so i could see what it was. turns out it was diamonds lots and lots of diamonds after mining it all with my partner reflex pro we ended up with 40 diamonds with no creative or special seeds. I now consider myself a great miner. Any ideas on how this happened bug? glitch?
A great miner or at least an experienced miner would at least have some wood on hand, as well coal. Never know when you need to craft another pick just in case. Even iron when just in case your pickaxe for precious ores breaks. Always be prepared, even in the depths of a lava lake...lol

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I had also just started so i didnt have that many torches plus reflexcraft is the SERVER i was playing on at the time
This is the XBox subforum. According to the information I have from googling "Reflexcraft," it operates as a 24/7 Bukkit server on the PC in Minecraft PC version 1.4.2. The XBox is currently in version Beta 1.8.2 (which is several versions behind the PC) and is written in a different programming language than the PC. Reflexcraft, therefore, would not be playable on the XBox. Therefore, I surmise that you must have been playing on a PC and should post this to the PC subforum instead. If it is a bug or glitch (which is the question you asked), then it would be one relative to the PC, not an XBox one.
It really doesn't matter that he posted it in the wrong forum. Without any pictures it didn't happen. If you think it did, then I just found a hundred diamonds in a single spot. That makes me twice as good at mining right?

I found -18 yea, bet you couldn't do that.

It is on the xbox too you have to look for it on the fourms

You could perhaps provide the link. To answer your question then... there is no known such bug or glitch in the XBox version. The most diamonds anyone has reported finding in one location has been, I believe, about 12 or 13. Bugs and glitches are defined by being repeatable, so unless someone else can verify the same thing happening, it probably won't be listed as a bug. I think, however, it is far more likely that someone has at some point used creative mode to seed that area of the map with diamond ore. I sometimes do this sort of thing so that my friend's littlest kid gets to feel like a great miner when she comes across the area... she's 5.

i think you're sugarcoating this. There are not legitimate "servers" on Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. There are worlds with hosts. You were playing with friends from a PC server. There are no player hosted servers on Xbox.
1. Well, first of all, I wouldn't consider yourself a great miner. You just got lucky, if you are even telling the truth that is. There is no such as a good miner in my opinion. Good creators yes.
2. Wrong section.
3. You are going to need some more evidence if you want us to believe you. Anyone can say that, the pics however...at this moment are valuable.
Too true good miners usually carry torches as well.

Stop feeding him.
He's just trying to make up for some shortfall and thinks that luring people in on forums will fill the empty hole in his life..
