Hi guys, I need help getting the "on the rail" achievement and it's the last one I have left to get. Does anyone have a rail I could ride for the achievement? My GT is NinjaDEB0 or you can message me on here if you're willing to help. Thanks in advance!
What is the point of having it given to you, when you put in the time and effort to do it yourself it is much more rewarding when you have your memory as proof that you did it your self. Why does everyone like to cheat, so lame.
I see, I kinda agree with Mettle, but all the same my rails are set up already to do that, and travel in a nice way! See my Screen name here for my GT..
This is something I would rather do on my own, when I am connected Online. Don't have enough rail atm, but working to expand it anyhow. Feels more refreshing that I will be doing this myself. Although the pig ride one is probably the toughest atm.><

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I don't have "On a Rail" either, along with a couple others. When Microsoft decides to implement a purpose for gamerscore, (which is never) then I will start actively trying to obtain achievements. Until then, I will fly instead of taking a Minecart, and I have no use for riding a pig off of a cliff.

The hardest part is trapping the pig. Once it's trapped just use a piston + lever to push the pig into a pit (natural or man-made) to kill it.

If 4J ever implements carrots (maybe?), I probably won't fly EVER in creative if there is a pig around. Rather ride a pig around.
I'm the complete opposite when it comes to achievements/gamerscore it adds an extra feeling of accomplishment I guess in terms of being able to complete/do something and get an achievement and gamescore points for it! I managed to complete Forza Motorsport 3 in the end after finally getting gold on every. single. race. just to earn that final achievement I needed for it, something which I might have not bothered to do if there wasn't an achievement, or maybe not in terms of playing it for several hours and getting through as many races as possible each day/week
I give myself custom achievements, based on personal goals. I think it's funny how people always say, "Well, I got all the achievements, so there's nothing left to do." which I think is strong evidence that gamerscore hinders the imagination. On the original Xbox, my friends and I had hours of fun doing completely random things that weren't necessarily constructive to the game at all. You don't have to make progress to find enjoyment in a game. In fact, most achievements serve the exact opposite purpose, driving a player insane and influencing ragequits.

Everybody which doesnt have this achievement just get 8 powered rails, do a square with them connected to each other, power them with redstone torches or redstone, put minecart, wait 5 mins and there you go "On a Rail" achievement.

That's the idea I had in mind or at least something similar to it.
I have it all in my head what I am going to make to do so....
