I don't know if anyone said this yet but can you put add a keyboard ability? Once you plug in a USB keyboard, it detects it and you can type messages? Can this be done? I know people who are deaf and I'm hard of hearing so it really hard to hear what my friends are saying.

It would be nice to have the text messages in-game but if minecraft xbox 360 can't be modified or updated for that then... I don't know what to say. If it can be done- it would help a lot. I'm sure they can do it because they have to update to add more Mobs and stuff. If they can't do USB keyboard messaging in-game, then might as well have the Xbox text-pad or what ever you call it... do the same idea.
I remember these threads, back in 1.66 there were these every day. They won't add it. It is useless and a waste of time because not everyone has a keyboard for the xbox. Plus, this is what mics are for. So, use that....

Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
One option would be to use the Windows Live IM through XBox. However that means your friends will have to do any set up and use it too. Though I believe it would be only 1 on 1, but still it could help.
